SP200 Students receive invitation and reception from the City Council of Tourism and Culture of Salamanca, Spain
Countless presidents, prime ministers, kings, queens, and the like have passed through the main doors of the Plaza Mayor in Salamanca, Spain for formal receptions and meetings. Last week, the students on the SP200: Study Abroad experience were similarly treated like royalty after being given a personal invitation from the City Council of Tourism and Culture of Salamanca to celebrate their dedication to and interest in learning Spanish and about the cultures of Spain. The story appeared in two of the local newspapers in Spain. During their time in Spain, students in SP200 receive over 80 hours of instruction and visit nearly 20 cities across the country including 12 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
