As part of Wilfrid Laurier University’s commitment to teaching excellence and educational leadership, Laurier offers a WLU Award for Teaching Excellence and a Teaching/ Instructional Assistants Award of Excellence. The office of Educational Development is inviting members of the Laurier community to submit nominations for the following awards:
WLU Award for Teaching Excellence
The Award for Teaching Excellence was established to honour full-time faculty members and part-time contract academic staff who excel in teaching. Up to two recipients (one full-time faculty member and one part-time contract academic staff member) may receive the award each year. Deadline for submitting the nomination package to the Dean’s Office – January 16
Teaching/Instructional Assistant Award of Excellence
Teaching and Instructional Assistants play an important role in supporting student learning and development. In recognition of their contributions, Educational Development invites nominations for eligible candidates for the annual Teaching/Instructional Assistant Award of Excellence.
