Reviews to commence for Laurier’s Vice-President: Academic & Provost, and Vice-President: Development & Alumni Relations

In accordance with University procedures and prior to the end of the appointment term, review committees are established to review the work of vice-presidents and to make recommendations to Senate and Board of Governors regarding their renewal.
Robert Donelson’s current term as Vice-President: Development & Alumni Relations ends on June 30, 2014. Dr. Deborah MacLatchy’s current term as Vice-President: Academic & Provost ends on June 30, 2014.
A call for Nominations will go out in the next few days for eligible positions on their review committees; for elections to be held January 15 – 21, 2013. Committee membership for each of VP position is outlined at http://www.wlu.ca/documents/53131/Composition_of_Review_Committees_VPA_%26_VPD.pdf. The committees will meet February through April 2013.
Written input from the University community is gathered as part of each review. Calls for Submissions of this input will be posted in late January and will be due to the committees in mid-February.
