The Wilfrid Laurier University Graduate Student Orientation (WLUGSA) runs a full day of orientation events for all incoming graduate and professional students, with speakers and valuable information on everything from student services, financial aid and the health plan to student life and how to succeed as a graduate student.

Teaching and Professional Development Conference

The Office of Teaching Support Services will be hosting the Teaching and Professional Development Conference (formally the Teaching Assistants Conference). Offered annually to graduate students and post-doctoral fellows as well as new and returning undergraduate and graduate teaching and instructional assistants (TA's/IA's), this event provides an opportunity to:
- network with peers and build community
- develop teaching and learning skills
- learn from the experiences of seasoned TAs
- engage in professional development opportunities
