"Water, the real conflict in the Middle East?"

Dr. Eran Feitelson is a professor of Geography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. A past chair of the department and head of the Federmann School of Public Policy and Government, he is now directing a new interdisciplinary environmental studies program at Hebrew University. His research interests include district planning in Israel, sustainable mobility and transportation, water in the Israel-Palestine situation, and the implications of climate change. His presentation "Water: the real conflict in the Middle East?" addresses the ability of political entities to sustain normative water use given environmental, social, and political forces for change in the region.
