100 Years and Beyond reception a huge success!

Oct 6/11

On Saturday, Dr. William Banks hosted a 100 Years and Beyond reception welcoming the School of Business & Economics (SBE) alumni back to campus.

More than 120 alumni, friends, faculty and staff enjoyed an archival gallery including pictures and displays showcasing SBE throughout the years.

"This year's homecoming was particularly celebratory not only for Laurier, but for the School of Business & Economics," said William Banks, acting-dean, School of Business & Economics. "SBE is 45 years old and we have many accomplishments to be proud of, and we certainly have a bright future ahead of us."

Thanks to a recent transformational investment of $72.6 million from the Ontario government for the construction of the Global Innovation Exchange, the new home of the School of Business & Economics, will cement Laurier's position as a major incubator of skilled business leadership and talent.
