Spoken word poet El Jones is coming to Laurier!

Please join us at a series of exciting spoken word poetry events taking place on Tuesday, March 11th. El Jones, the celebrated spoken word poet, activist and teacher is coming to Laurier to perform and teach a spoken word workshop! All are welcome!

2:30 - 4:00: El Jones performance (followed by a Q&A)
(Bricker 1-101, All are welcome)

4:30 - 5:20: Spoken Word Poetry Workshop: "Making Revolution Irresistible:The Art of Political Spoken Word" (On campus, spaces are limited, contact Tanis MacDonald (tmacdonald@wlu.ca) or Jennifer Esmail (jesmail@wlu.ca) to register for this free hands-on workshop with El Jones)

7:30 - 9:30: KW Poetry Slam Presents El Jones Showcase (Little Bean Coffee Bar, 417 King Street W., Kitchener, All are welcome, $5 or Pay What You Can admission)
