Summer Win for 4th-year Piano Student
Nam Hee Kim wins ORMTA Competition

This summer, Nam Hee Kim won the ORMTA (Ontario Registered Music Teachers’ Association) Young Artist Competition. The win required various stages of success as she passed from the branch level to wins at the zone, and ultimately, provincial levels. Her win includes a $1000 scholarship sponsored by Yamaha and an Ontario tour this fall. Kim is a student in Dr. Joseph Ferretti’s piano studio.
Tour Schedule:
- September 30: Etobicoke-Mississauga, Christ Church
- October 14: Kitchener-Waterloo, The Music Room
- October 21 or 28: Kingston, Upper Canada Academy of Performing Arts or Kingston Public Library (Details still to be finalized)
