Join us for the launch of Glenn Buhr's new book

We are pleased to announce that Laurier professor Glenn Buhr will be releasing his new book Our Native Song on Monday April 8. Our Native Song is a compilation of analytical, anecdotal, and philosophical essays on music. Glenn uses his experiences as a composer, conductor, and performer to explore the social and organic emergence of music in society and how all music can be considered folk music.
“Glenn Buhr loves music so much he questions the unquestionable and reveres the irreverent, and we and music are better for it” said Tom Allen, host of CBC Radio Two’s The Shift.
Join Glenn at Words Worth Books in Waterloo on Monday April 8 for a reception, author reading, and book signing starting at 7:00 p.m.
