Bargaining talks are progressing between Wilfrid Laurier University and the United Food and Commercial Workers, Local 175 (UFCW).

After three days of meetings, the two sides have addressed all non-monetary issues. The parties are continuing to bargain and feel they would benefit from the assistance of a conciliator. The next session is scheduled for Aug. 23.

UFCW Local 175 represents approximately 41 full-time and 54 part-time food services employees at Laurier.
