Wilfrid Laurier University has reached a tentative deal for a new collective agreement with its Contract Academic Staff (CAS). 
The agreement must be ratified by the University’s Board of Governors and CAS members, who are represented by the Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty Association.

The tentative agreement, which is retroactive to Sept. 1, 2010, was reached with the assistance of a provincial mediator. The University and the CAS had previously met for 29 days of bargaining and four days of conciliation.
