World Water Day Graduate Student Research Fair and Water Celebration
Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo invite you to participate in the 3rd annual World Water Day Graduate Student Research Fair & Water Celebration on March 22, 2012 at the University of Waterloo. Early career researchers will have a chance to present their current research projects through poster presentations, discuss emerging research trends and network with community, governmental, and industrial organizations focused on water initiatives. Government and industry organizations are invited to set up exhibits that showcase their organization, discuss the professional side of water resources, network with researchers and recruit students for potential career and co-op positions. The event will include graduate water research poster presentations, keynote presentations on water issues, and booths for water sector partners and community groups. Poster awards of $150 each will be awarded to top ranked posters within five different categories: Hydrological and Atmospheric Science; Water Policy, Management & Governance; Aquatic Ecology & Toxicology; Water Treatment & Technology; and Cold Regions.
