Message from Dr. Deb MacLatchy, re: Welcome Kim Neutens
In support of the responsibilities in the VP Academic Office, and in recognition of the significant and ongoing growth in our size and geography over the past decade, I am pleased to announce that Kimberley Neutens has joined the VP Academic's Office in the new role of 'Manager, Special Projects and Administration'. In this role, Kim will work closely with me in the delivery of special planning projects that meet the strategic priorities and integrative planning requirements of my portfolio, alongside providing administrative support for the Office in general.
Kim joins the VPA Office team with a breadth of experience and knowledge in post-secondary education that will prove invaluable to the cross-functional planning work that she will undertake. Kim has a BA in Political Science from McMaster, and an MBA from the Sauder School at UBC. She has worked at the University of British Columbia, York University and most recently, spent 10 years at the University of Toronto at the Rotman School of Management. Her previous portfolios have included management of academic and international programs, international & domestic student recruitment, integration of technology to support teaching & learning, and external liaison.
Please join me in welcoming Kim. You can contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org or at extension 2913. Her office is in Room R241.
