- Academic Planning Committee: Senate approved a motion to endorse the
Balsillie School of International Affairs governance document
- By-Laws & Regulations Committee: Senate approved a motion to add the
Associate Vice-President: Teaching and Learning to the Committee on
Instructional Development
Divisional/Faculty Councils
- Faculty of Arts: Senate approved motions to: add a research
specialization in Communication Studies; add a minor in Environmental Studies;
add a single honours program in Film Studies; close the BA Mediterranean Studies
(all effective September 1, 2012)
- Faculty of Science: Senate approved a motion to add a thesis course in
Health Sciences (effective September 1, 2012)
