Matt Lasswell receives movement disorders research award
The Philip Family Graduate Award in Movement Disorders
Congratulations to Matt Lasswell, masters student at Wilfrid Laurier University, for receiving The Philip Family Graduate Award in Movement Disorders.
Established by Niru & Chantal Philip to encourage students to learn about, research and pursue a career that will help individuals who have movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease. This gift is made in honour of Niru Philip's parents Francis & Shanthini Philip.
Matt is a full time graduate student in the MSc in Kinesiology, currently conducting research at The Sun Life Movement Disorders Research and Rehabilitation Centre (MDRC). His focus is on exercise and its influence on Parkinson's disease symptoms.
