SC340A : Entrepreneurship for Science Students (new fall course)

The Faculty of Science will be offering a new special topics course this fall - SC340A : Entrepreneurship for Science Students. It will be restricted to 4th year students who are not in the double degree program with additional exclusions for BU311 and BU440.
It is expected that the course description will be something similar to the following:
Developed specifically for science students, this course focuses on starting and growing new businesses, with an emphasis on entrepreneurial skills; identifying new venture opportunities (versus ideas); evaluating the viability of a new venture; understanding the skills necessary for success and building a team that possesses those attributes; and financing, starting and operating a business.
