Year-end giving: Make sure you get (tax) credit

The university is grateful for your support and wants to ensure that you receive the appropriate tax credit for your gift. Please follow the instructions below to ensure your donation is properly credited and receipted for the 2010 tax year.
The easiest way to ensure you receive proper year-end giving credit is to make a gift online at /giving. By visiting this secure site, you will also have access to our tax calculator which can aid you in determining the size of your gift. Please note that online gifts must be received by midnight on December 31, 2010 to qualify for a 2010 tax receipt.
If you are making a gift by cheque, your envelope must be postmarked or date-stamped no later than December 31, 2010 to be eligible for the tax credit.
Cheques should be made out to Wilfrid Laurier University and mailed to the following address:

If you are making your gift in person, please note that the university is closed for the holiday season, on December 23 at 4:30 p.m. and will re-open on January 4. However, for your convenience, there is a drop box located at the main entrance of Alumni Hall at the Waterloo campus, to the left of the doors. You can also drop off your donation at the Carnegie Building located at Laurier Brantford.
If you are making a gift of stock, the gift must be received in our account no later than December 23, 2010 to allow sufficient time for processing [gifts of securities form].
