Laurier launches its first-ever young alumni challenge
Wilfrid Laurier University is pleased to announce the launch of the first-ever young alumni challenge. As part of a comprehensive campaign to engage young alumni, the Wilfrid Laurier University Alumni Association (WLUAA) has pledged to match gifts 1:1 up to a total of $25,000.
“We are thrilled to be in a position to offer this opportunity for young alumni to double their impact on the future of Laurier," said Tom Berczi, president of WLUAA. “We have over 24,000 alumni that have graduated from Laurier from 1998-2008, and this is a great way to re-engage them with the university."
The campaign encourages young alumni to pick their passion and give back to an area that had a significant impact on their life while at Laurier, while helping to pave the way for future generations of Laurier students.
