Christie Digital enhances the student experience
Christie Digital, a global leader in visual solutions, recently made a generous donation of equipment to Laurier valued at more than $80,000.
Christie’s in-kind donation of high-powered projectors and zoom lenses will greatly improve the quality and brightness of projected images in the classroom. This new equipment will be strategically installed in lecture rooms during the Fall term to benefit the largest number of students.
“We were thrilled to help Laurier out in this capacity,” said Gerry Remers, President and COO of Christie Digital and Laurier grad (’79).
“It’s a great gift,” added John Durst, manager of media technology resources for Laurier. “Having high-quality visual equipment greatly enhances the student’s ability to view the materials presented.”
