New Award Established in Dr. Rosehart’s Name

A new student award is being
established by his many friends and colleagues to celebrate Dr. Rosehart’s legacy
of leadership. The award will be partially funded by proceeds from his retirement
celebration in Waterloo
on Wednesday, June 20, 2007.
The Robert G. Rosehart Community Award will be open to all full-time undergraduate or graduate students in year two or
above, who are enrolled at any of Laurier’s campuses. Applicants must demonstrate
above-average academic standing (minimum GPA of 8.0), excellence in volunteer
experiences both within the Laurier and the broader communities, and active
participation in intramural and/or intercollegiate athletics.
The recipient
must be a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident (landed immigrant) or a
Protected Person, as well as a long-term resident of Ontario who demonstrates proven financial
need.
