Dr. Spooner publishes research on Canadian peacekeepers

Friends, colleagues and members of the Kitchener-Waterloo community gathered on Wednesday, November 25th at the Laurier Centre for Strategic and Military Studies to celebrate the launch of Dr. Kevin Spooner’s book Intervention in Africa: The Congo Crisis, the Cold War, and Canadian Peacekeeping published by UBC Press. The monograph explores the role played by Canadian peacekeepers in the 1960s crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Dr Spooner gave a brief presentation followed by questions from the public.
