At this time of year, bicycles are a great way to travel. However, a fall from a bicycle can cause serious personal injury.
View the Safety Alert to learn from a lost time accident that was caused by a fall from a bicycle. The contributing factors to the accident were:
- Inadequate tire treads
- Distraction
- Removal of hands from the handlebars
- Inability to quickly release from toe clips when the fall began
