Launching Online: Laurier's Teaching and Instructional Assistant Handbook

Coordinating and created by Educational Development, Laurier’s first edition of the Teaching and Instructional Assistant Handbook is now online and offers five extensive sections that anticipates the needs of teaching and instructional assistants new to the Laurier community.
The print version of this document was distributed at the 2008 Teaching Assistants Conference to over 200 Teaching and Instructional Assistants. Important information in the handbook includes grading and classroom management advice, survival strategies, communication tools, key contacts and support services on campus, important Laurier policies as well as professional development tools, such as creating a teaching dossier.
