Laurier Makes Exchange Agreement with Conservatoire Lyon
This past Thursday, Laurier made an exchange agreement with the Conservatoire Lyon, the largest Conservatoire in France. With many partners in Italy, Spain, Poland, Germany and elsewhere, Canada joins as the first partner in Canada.
The guest signer was Xavier Jacquelin, who is Chargé de l'action culturelle et des relations internationales of the Conservatoire de Lyon.
Dean of Music Glen Carruthers says this exchange opens up the opportunity for "student exchanges, faculty exchanges, concerts, residencies, master classes and maybe even some chamber music opportunities - students from Lyon and Laurier combined etc"
We look forward to see the benefits of the exchange.
