Research Account Balances: Year-end Inconsistences

Researchers logging in to Millenium or Banner might be alarmed to see an incorrect balance. This is normal for this time of year, following the university’s year-end of April 30.

The balance on a research account rolls forward from one year to the next, but that balance doesn’t appear in the account until Financial Resources has completed the year-end process, which can take several weeks.

In the meantime, we would be happy to help calculate your balance based on last year’s spending and the current year budget.
