Improved LORIS PIN Reset Process
Students who incorrectly enter their PIN three times are locked out of Loris. Previously, they had to call the Registrar's Office and answer some security questions to have it reset. They are now able to complete a secure online form to have their PIN reset, which is a good improvement for them and for staff who reset PINs.
The PIN is still manually reset, it is just the request process that has been improved. Students are advised that their PIN will be reset within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). Users on campus who currently have access to reset PINs for students will still be able to do so although you can also refer them to the PIN reset form found at https://web.wlu.ca/pinreset/, appreciating that it will take up to one business day for the reset to happen.
