Introducing the plans for the Centre for Cold Regions and Water Science
Construction will begin in spring 2012 on the Centre for Cold Regions and Water Science.
Thanks to contributions from the Government of Northwest Territories, Canada Foundation for Innovation and Wilfrid Laurier University, this building will be home to expertise and equipment that will help to improve Canadian capacity for predicting the impacts of natural and human disturbances on Boreal water resources.
A focus of research will be to address priority questions important to communities and decison-makers in the Northwest Territories.
