Northern Voices, Southern Choices

The Northwest Territories Water Stewardship Strategy, Northern Voices, Northern Waters is the subject of reflection and dialogue across Canada.

The Forum for Leadership on Water (FLOW) spearheaded a pan-Canadian tour, visiting sixteen cities across the country to showcase the NWT Water Stewardship Strategy as a model in basin-wide water planning, inter-jurisdictional cooperation and water policy innovation, from which other regions can learn.

On Tuesday October 25th, nearly one hundred members of Wilfrid Laurier University, neighbouring University of Waterloo, and the general public gathered to listen to speakers David Livingstone, Chris Burns and Stephen Kakfwi.
