TORONTO – Wilfrid Laurier University’s Toronto office will present “Securing Funding for New Ventures” June 7 at noon as part of a speaker series at the Laurier Toronto office, 130 King St. W.

In his presentation, Richard Cantin, Executive Director of the Laurier Executive Development Centre, will explore one of the most difficult steps for entrepreneurs – securing funding.

Cantin’s presentation will cover what to say, what to avoid, and when and how to address certain points. The presentation is a consolidation of knowledge from various industry experts as well as Cantin’s own experiences.

For the last 20 years, Cantin has taken on many high-tech leadership roles, with experience across the three key pillars of the technology industry: computers, telecommunications and the Internet.

The presentation is open to the public. To register, please call 416-306-0866, or email Meagan Suckling at infotoronto@wlu.ca.
