Police seek help in Waterloo assault

Waterloo Regional Police are asking the public for any information related to the assault of a Toronto man that took place early on the morning of Sat., March 9 on Seagram Drive near the UW Place residence.
Police say the 20-year-old man was visiting Waterloo to attend a Tamil student function at the St. George Banquet Hall in Waterloo.
The victim left the hall and later arrived at a student residence on Seagram Drive shortly before 3 a.m. The victim was assaulted in a parking lot by three males described as having dark skin.
The victim was admitted to hospital where he received treatment for serious but non-life threatening injuries.
