The following projection is based upon a weighted blending of polls from Ekos (Jan 27-Feb 2) and Nanos (Jan 29-Feb 4) taken from an aggregate sample of 4400. The data used show a Liberal lead of 7% in Ontario, and a BQ lead of 7% in Quebec.

Our federal and regional support tables have been updated with data up to the end of January 2010. They now show the effects of recent news stories like Harper's prorogation of parliament and the earthquake in Haiti.

The Laurier Institute for the Study of Public Opinion and Policy is a research center at Wilfrid Laurier University which studies issues pertaining to the creation, use and representation of public opinion in the policy process.
