Canadian Second World War Air Photo Collection
The air photo collection was obtained by the LCMSDS from the Canadian government in the early 1990s. The unique collection of original photographs is the most extensive photographic record of Canadian involvement in Northwest Europe available. It contains in excess of 300,000 original photographs taken by the RAF and RCAF during the Second World War. Many key photographs will be digitised.
