Heidi Ahonen, Music Therapy Program Heidi Ahonen is a music therapy professor and the director of the Manfred and Penny Conrad Institute for Music Therapy Research. She is currently researching the clinical use of music psychotherapy interventions such as clinical improvisation, guided imagination and music, and low frequency sounds. In her research, Ahonen hopes to prove the effectiveness of music therapy with various types of clients.
