Biography
Michel Desjardins has taught and published in the areas of Comparative Religions, Early Christianity, Peace and Violence, and the Academic Study of Religion in North America. He is Professor of Religion and Culture, President of the Canadian Society for the Study of Religion, and the Secretary of the American Academy of Religion He is serving as Chair of the Department of Global Studies. His current research is on the role of food in religious traditions across the world.
