Director: Chunming (Victor) Shi

The Centre for Supply Chain Management (SCM), located within the School of Business & Economics (SBE), has the primary function of facilitating and coordinating research in supply chain management.The Centre ensures regular and useful communication between researchers and practitioners including strategic decision makers in supply chain management.The purpose of each communication (seminars/conferences/roundtables) is to ensure that relevant topics are well research and the researched findings are disseminated in timely fashion to those who can use them.Related activities of the Centre include assisting in the development of education materials (BBA/MBA/PhD levels) and training initiatives with the Laurier Institute.

Laurier is a proud to be the first educational institution recipient of the prestigious Orcale/SCL Innovation Award. Awarded in June 2005 by Supply Chain & Logistics Canada (SCL).

Chunming (Victor) Shi: (PhD Washington State)
is currently an Associate Professor of Operations and Decision Sciences in the School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.  His main research interests have been in the areas of supply chain management and coordination, supply chain finance, and performance measurement.
