As Manager of Educational Development, Jeanette provides programming and support to faculty, graduate students, teaching/instructional assistants, departments and program committees on matters related to teaching, student learning and assessment, and instructional/curriculum design. She also collaborates on joint educational initiatives and engages in collaborative research on educational development and instructional practices with colleagues internal and external to Laurier.
Jeanette has taught teaching and learning courses (credit, non-credit, professional) to graduate students and instructors in online and face-to-face settings, and facilitated numerous educational development workshops of a variety of sizes (10 – 75) to faculty and students. Currently she co-teaches the university teaching course for masters and doctoral students with Dr. Eileen Wood. She also enjoys guest lecturing on a variety of topics and engaging with instructors on their teaching, learning, and scholarly practice.
