Academic BackgroundBSc, PhD University of Toronto
BiographyMy academic career has been very rewarding. Following a PhD in theoretical/computational chemistry at the University of Toronto I was a Research Associate at the University of Chicago and a University Research Fellow at the University of Ottawa before joining the Chemistry Department at Wilfrid Laurier University where I am now Professor of Chemistry. I am also Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the University of Waterloo. I have been a visiting scientist/professor at the Fields Institute in Toronto, the Agency for Industrial Science and Technology in Japan (where I was a STA fellow), the Centre of Theoretical Chemistry and Physics in New Zealand (with support from the Massey University International Visitor Research Fund), and the University of Toronto.
My research program is focused on several inter-related areas of theoretical and computational chemistry.
