People at Laurier

Terrence Teixeira, Honours Business and Chemistry An innovative proposal to build and sell solar-powered lawn mowers proved to be a winner for Terrence, along with his three partners in team “Glow ‘N’ Mo”. They took first place in a New Venture Creation Competition, with Terrence as president and CEO of the fictitious company and overseeing research and development. The experience was so positive that the team considered patenting their solar-powered lawn mower.
