We offer the following services:

  • Drop-in hours for short sessions where you can get immediate help with specific questions about academic writing
  • Workshops
    • writing workshops for all students on the core elements of academic writing
    • workshops for graduate students: Scholarship Proposal Writing
    • workshops for English language learners

The Writing Centre is grateful for the support of the Student Life Levy in providing funding for our drop-in programming.

We now offer French and Spanish language tutoring.


We offered several Scholarship Proposal Writing workshops this fall.


We have partnered with the Intercultural Development Office to offer the free WLU VocApp for Apple and Android devices.
