VOLUNTEER IN THE COMMUNITY!

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others ~Mohandas K. Gandhi

If you are interested in making a difference in the community, this is the website for you!  Sign in and learn about the many volunteer opportunities available to Laurier staff, students and faculty, retirees and alumni.

If you aren't sure what you would like to do, or how to have the greatest impact, please contact a Community Service-Learning (CSL) coordinator.

Check Out These Great Volunteer Opportunities:

Summer is Special Event Season!  Help a local charity with their FUNdraising Event!!

Sign-in above and search under Special Events.  There are lots of great opportunities to get involved with awesome special events.  You could help out for just one day, or take on a bigger role in helping to plan and run the event.  Help with one event, or volunteer with several over the next few months - it's up to you!

Interested in volunteering with children through the summer?

Sign-in above and search under Children/Youth for lots of great opportunities to help out with educational, recreational, and mentoring programs with children and youth.  This includes chances to volunteer with camps and summer programs through July and August.

When contacting the organizations to inquire about volunteer opportunities, please let them know that you are from Laurier, but that you are NOT a Laurier Community Service-Learning (CSL) student (many of these organizations receive Laurier students for CSL placements).
