Ken Jackson completed a BSc in Physical Geography at the University of British Columbia in 1998 and began working for an aerial photography firm. Returning to school in 2003, he received his doctorate in 2010. Current research is focused on economic development and specifically the role of diversity in affecting government effectiveness and the provision of public goods.
