Biography
Dr. Servos' research focuses on the neural bases of somatosensory and visual perception. He uses functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) as well as neuropsychological techniques to examine these processes. He has published more than 30 articles in peer-reviewed journals and his work has been featured on the front page of the National Post. Dr. Servos received his PhD from the University of Western Ontario and pursued post-doctoral fellowships at Harvard University as well as Stanford University. He has received an Ontario Premier's Research Excellence Award and is currently the Canada Research Chair in Cognitive Neuroscience at Laurier.
