Biography
Dr. Sider teaches EU 515 (School Culture and Change) in the Master of Education program and, in the Bachelor of Education, EU 407 (Special Education) and the Professional Learning Seminar (EU 404).
Prior to his work at WLU, Dr. Sider has instructed in the Faculty of Education at Western and Redeemer. He has been an elementary and secondary school teacher and administrator. He also has a Specialist certificate in Special Education and has been a resource teacher and consultant in this field.
Dr. Sider's research and writing interests are in global perspective building and creative school leadership. He has spent considerable time teaching and learning in India, Haiti, and Latin America. He is on the executive of the Comparative and International Education Society of Canada (CIESC).
