I am an assistant professor with the Faculty of Education at WLU. I have taught courses in education and psychology, including EU400: Professional Learning Seminar; EU402: School and Society; EU401 Learning and Child Development; PS283: Educational Psychology and PS475: Seminar in Developmental Psychology.
I was an elementary educator in the Waterloo Region for eight years before returning to school to complete graduate work and begin research in the area of computers in education. My research interests include teacher integration of computers in the classroom, the impact of computer technology on students as learners, and early literacy instruction with and without technology.
I have two wonderful daughters and an equally spectacular husband who complement my life and expand my horizons. I love to be outside and appreciate the beauty of our natural earth. I spend a great deal of my time with professional reading in an attempt to answer my many questions about education and life in general.
