Biography
My B.Sc. thesis focused on the organic synthesis of ellagitannins, and was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Khanbabaee at the University of Paderborn. As an M.Sc. student, I studied the interactions between shallow groundwater carbon and soil carbon dioxide production along a forested slope in Northern Ontario. My M.Sc. thesis work was supervised by Dr. Creed (research published in Biogeochemistry).
As the Instrumentation Technician in the Faculty of Science, I support faculty and student research activities by:
- maintaining multi-user instruments,
- developing standard operating procedures for instrument use,
- teaching new users how to safely and effectively use equipment, and
- repairing or coordinating the repair of a wide variety of research equipment.
Please see the side menu for instrument training requirements and to access standard operating procedures.
