Dennis Kavelman ('93), Bachelor of Business Administration Dennis Kavelman became CFO of RIM in 1995 when the company had just 25 employees. He presided over the company's $100-million IPO and its listing on the NASDAQ and TSE, as the company grew to over 2,000 employees worldwide. In 2005, Dennis was named one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40. He became RIM's Chief Operating Officer: Administration & Operations in 2007. Today he serves as Chief Operating Officer at Desire2Learn in Kitchener.
