Biography

Darren Thomas is a member of the Seneca Nation; he is Bear Clan and currently resides at the Grand River Territory of the Haudenosaunee. Darren currently as the Indigenous Studies Liaison Officer. He currently is working on his PhD in Community Psychology with a focus on Indigenous Knowledge, Indigenous research methodologies and Indigenous governance.  As the Indigenous studies liaison he works with faculty that are interested in integrating Indigenous knowledge into their course design as well as building connections with local and regional Aboriginal community.
