Biography
My background and interests lie in exercise physiology and nutrition. I enjoy teaching and studying about the human body and how it changes during exercising versus resting conditions in a variety of populations - and how optimal nutrition, and training can impact performance goals.
My teaching labs are currently KP 322 - exercise physiology, KP 262 statistics and KP 261 - research methods, and I have taught KP 361 - motor learning labs as well.
Although, I love teaching, my more recent passions in life are my 2 children ages 6 and 3. I also enjoy facilitating workshops and training for fitness instructors and personal trainers and can be frequently found at the gym teaching aerobics, pilates and yoga.
