Procurement Services
Procurement Services is a centralized operation to assist faculty and administrative staff in the selection and procurement of goods and services required to pursue their departmental responsibilities.
The Procurement Policy link applies to all members of the university community, regardless of the source of funding; namely operating funds, internal and external research grants, research institute funds, etc. will all be subject to this policy.
The Procurement Policy and Procedures are structured to meet all Federal and Provincial laws that govern competitive bidding practices in Canada and to protect both the University and the individual purchaser from liability that could result from a challenge to a contract award.
Procurement Services will help to ensure that orders are properly processed to meet the requirements of federal and provincial excise legislation, trade agreements, customs regulations and procurement policies and guidelines adopted by Canadian universities.
