Case Publications

The School of Business & Economics (SBE) currently distributes case studies to institutions across Canada and the United States. Written by specialists in all functional areas of business, these cases focus on the development and implementation of business and economic policy. They are suitable for many areas of business studies, including marketing, policy/strategy, international business, entrepreneurship, business/government relations, human resources and finance courses.

In a classroom setting, SBE cases provide an excellent supplement to any teaching package, giving students the opportunity to develop practical applications of the theoretical foundations to which they have been exposed. Teaching notes have been designed for most of the cases to provide guidance on their usage to classroom instructors. In addition, a number of cases have French translations available.

Through an agreement with the North American Case Research Association (NACRA), cases published since 1997 in the Case Research Journal (CRJ) are available through SBE. This collection has over 300 cases available with new cases being added quarterly. All CRJ cases are blind refereed and include an Instructor's Manual.  For information regarding NACRA cases not included in the SBE Case Catalogue, please see NACRA's web site at www.nacra.net.

If you are interested in having a case distributed through SBE, please contact the Case Publications Office (contact information below).
